Community Outreach
Committed to a Brighter Lake Highlands’ Community
Lake Highlands is Dr. Hanks’ home, and he considers his patients and members of the local community to be his extended family.
Dr. Hanks will tell you that he is “Native Texan, Dallas born, Lake Highlands raised.” He and his staff love being good citizens in the community.
Giving Back, Personally and Professionally
Dr. Hanks serves on the Board of the Texas Chiropractic Association and as an extended faculty member for Parker University, his alma mater. Dr. Hanks also welcomes students from Parker into his office to complete their chiropractic residencies.
Dr. Hanks focuses his giving to support three local charities:
- Community Partners of Dallas – serving abused & neglected children
- White Rock Center of Hope – food bank & clothing closet
- The Bridge – a homeless recovery center.
His popular “Christmas in July” toy drive and frequent canned food drives are just some of the charitable efforts of which he is proud.
*Unfortunately, Dr. Hanks cannot offer free services to Medicare patients because of government restrictions.
